Lawnfest, the one-day family festival organised by The AlFayed Charitable Foundation, took place on Saturday 6th July, and was the most successful Lawnfest to date.
Headlined by Billy Ocean, Lawnfest saw some of the best in new and old musical talent come together to help raise funds for West Heath School, an incredible charity-run school that rebuilds the lives of emotionally traumatised children. Other acts included Man Like Me, Lulu James, Josephine, Singtank, Sam Gray, the Val3ntine Brothers and Firehazard.
Lawnfest also saw an eclectic selection of food served, including burgers from Street Kitchen, vintage inspired ice creams from Kiss My Cake, traditional English teas from Violet's Vintage Teas, local wines from Shepherd Neame and delicious gin and vodka infused cocktails from The Travelling Apothecary. A number of little pop-up shops selling vintage, preloved, restyled, home-made and organic goods were sold in the Lawnfest 'village boutique'.
