A host of artists and musical talents will take to the stage on 6th July for Lawnfest, the fantastic music and art festival which raises money for the New School at West Heath. Pulling a diverse crowd of hip young people and their families, expect a few familiar faces amongst the crowd!
"This is one of the most exciting and fun events in the calendar, and it is for such a worthy cause," says Camilla Al Fayed. "Each year, the AlFayed Charitable Foundation looks forward to working with this utterly inspiring school which is dedicated to rebuilding young damaged lives through education."
Hand-picked for your musical pleasure, Lawnfest 2013 will present an enviable line-up of talents, including Billy Ocean, Man Like Me, Lulu James, Josephine, Singtank, Sam Gray, the Val3ntine Brothers and Firehazard.
The food and drink at Lawnfest is delicious. This year there'll be burgers from Street Kitchen, wood-fired gourmet pizzas from Fox and Raisin, and vintage flavoured ice creams from Kiss My Cake. Plus, expect mouth-watering gin and vodka champagne infusions from The Cocktail Club, and traditional English teas from Violet's Vintage Teas. And that's not all; Lawnfest's very own 'village boutiques' will showcase a selection of gorgeous pop-up shops selling vintage, preloved, restyled, home-made and organic goodies
As well music and art, Lawnfest offered families a super fun-filled day out; activities included:
